Why is Therapeutic Observations and Engagement important?
Fundamentally, Therapeutic Observations is the relationship between the patient and any healthcare professionals they may come into contact with. Therapeutic Observations are crucial for ongoing refinement and evaluation of support strategies. The objective target between the BILD ACT and Therapeutic Observations is to reduce any restrictive practices while promoting person centred care and enhancing the quality of life for people with learning disabilities.
