Who are BILD ?
BILD, the British Institute of Learning Disabilities, has been authorized by the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) to certify training services that comply with the RRN Training Standards. This certification is available for both in-house training and commercial training providers in various sectors, including education, health and social care, and services for children and adults. It covers a range of conditions such as mental health conditions, dementia, learning disabilities, and autism. The certification scheme is applicable across the United Kingdom and Ireland. It is important to note that certification of training services is now mandatory for NHS commissioned services, and regulated services are expected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to use certified training.
