A whitepaper released by the Chartered Management Institute on gender issues in the workplace have revealed a lack of self-confidence and a weak talent pipeline are among the biggest challenges holding back female managers.
The paper entitled, Women in Leadership, identified a lifetime pay gap of more than £42,000 between male and female executives.
