How do I log on to my Train Healthcare portal?
Simply visit our website www.trainhealthcare.com, click ‘individual login’ at the top of the webpage and enter the login details you were sent via email when you registered. Remember to select the company you are registered under.
In what locations do you offer face-to-face training?
Our training takes place nationwide. Our main locations are London (Central and West), Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton. If you are a company and require a bespoke training day, we can send our trainers to any location nationwide.
How will I obtain information about my face to face training?
This information can be easily found by checking the email you were sent when you purchased the training. Alternatively, you can log on to your Train Healthcare portal and find all the information you need by clicking on ‘Your Package & Face-To-Face Training’.
Once I have completed my training, how do I access my certificate?
Online training: Once you have successfully completed and passed your online training course, your certificate will be automatically emailed to you and can be downloaded from your training portal.
Face-to-face training: Your certificate will be emailed to you within a 24 hour period of the training ending. Please note, if training is taking place on a Saturday, you will receive your certificate first thing Monday morning. It can also be downloaded from your training portal.
If for some reason you don’t receive your certificate via email, you can log on to your Train Healthcare portal, click ‘Your Package & Face-To-Face Training’ and you will see the option to download your certificate.
I cannot attend my face to face training. Can I get a refund?
We will happily move you into another training of your choice. However, a refund can only be given if the training you have purchased is outside a 7 day period of the training taking place.

What is PMVA (GSA)?
PMVA stands for Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression and it is trained to the General Services Association standards. As our speciality course, it is aimed at healthcare workers working within mental health. It has been designed and developed to meet the needs and expectations of employees who regularly deal with violence or aggression during the course of their work and who need to employ all the skills from conflict management to breakaway and/or physical restraint.
We accept MAPPA, MAYBO, Scip, Team Teach, Control and Restraint and PRISS certificates for conversion to the GSA PMVA model of interventions.
